This gorgeous knife holder is ready to stand at attention for you and your knives.  This make your life easier, particularly when you are busy prepping and chopping in the kitchen.    They are 5 slots for knives, three fit knife blades up t 2 1/4" wide and two fit up to 1 1/8" knives.  And it also looks great on your counter in the meanwhile.  

The stand is designed not only with good looks in mind but function, the triangles on the side allow your knives to dry if they are put away damp and there is silicon on the bottom of the stand to protect your counter top.

This item is made by Futagami, one of Japan's premier foundry's.  This is made of unlaquered brass with an organic sandy finish and it is topped off with a cherry wood slotted top.

Unlaquered brass will develop a patina over time, sort of your story - we love how it changes.
