These chic candle holders and one of kind made by NINA SPRING for UMEI- I know aren't we lucky?  They are made to work with the Japanese meditation candles such as Takezawa Kome No Megumi and Daiyo Rice Bran Candles.  They are hand made porcelain so you must be careful placing the candles (not cast iron) - not difficult to use but we just want your little piece of art/candle holder to last.

A little bit about NINA SPRING

Nina Spring is a multi-medium artist based in New Orleans.  We are humbled to be present her work in pottery.

We are drawn to her glazes, the forms, their shadows, their quiet strength and elegance.  Nina draws inspiration from Mespotanian excavations, the films of Nacer Kemir and Japanese potter Kanjiro Kawai's love for the dignity of simplicity.  Nina create moments of stillness for the beholder.  She believe these objects will naturally find their use, we agree.
