This In the Forest cover features a soft, muted blue background adorned with animals and plants from the forest. The design is woven in fine detail using necktie fabric, depicting owls, bears, rabbits, squirrels, wildflowers, birds, and more.

This design captures the peaceful lives of creatures living in a tranquil forest. Even in the midst of busy days, may it help you spend your time with a sense of calm and ease. The gentle expressions and gestures of the forest animals that are also carefully recreated are so charming.

Look carefully also for somewhere in the design, you’ll find a Hobonichi Techo resting on a tree stump. It feels as if someone has paused to take a break in the forest, surrounded by the animals.  Inspires us!

The Bow & Tie series is covered with the same textured, shiny fabric used in neckties. The material has a beautiful gloss and is soft to the touch. You will enjoy interacting with it throughout the year. Soft to the touch and soothing, like we imagine forest animals.

The book spine is foil-pressed in silver with the year 2026 and the HON logo for easy reference when placed in your bookshelf alongside other books.

The bookbinding on the HON has thread-stitch binding similar to the Hobonichi Techo Original, so it opens 180 degrees onto the table. It stays flat even if you don’t hold it down.

The book uses thin and light yet durable Tomoe River paper. It's characterized by its ability to hold ink well and provide a smooth writing experience.

This HON techo comes with a pencil board. The board is clear, with 5mm grid lines printed across it. There are measurements printed along one side in 1mm increments, which allow for use as a ruler. It also has a pen holder attached to it where users can store pens by their clips.
