A limited edition,  beautifully crafted hardcover notebook for everyday use. Kakimori created it to be the kind that fits on a bookshelf and becomes part of a treasured collection over the years. Produced through experimental techniques, this fabric brings together cotton and washi yarns, revealing the distinctive crispness and structure of washi. A notebook that can be easily used even though it is a tight top binding.  These limited editions by Kakimori are covered in Bishu Textile fabric.

Inside, you’ll find book paper pages that open perfectly flat thanks to section sewn binding. The soft blue-grey print disappears when photocopied and won't distract when writing, ensuring your words remain front and centre. The 5mm grid is ideal for both writing and drawing diagrams or tables. It is a carefully woven Bishu textile of beautiful red, white and blue plaid.

Bishu textile originates from around Ichinomiya, Aichi Prefecture, a region known for its woven wool textiles. Bishu textile production is the largest of its kind in Japan and is considered one of the world’s three most renowned wool textiles. The various production stages are organised within the Bishu region through specialisation and collaboration, ensuring fabrics continue to be crafted with the exceptional craftsmanship passed down for generations.

Produced through experimental techniques, this fabric brings together cotton and washi yarns, revealing the distinctive crispness and structure of washi.

The Kakimori notebooks take every design element into consideration. They pair wonderfully with Kakimori dip pens and Frost rollerball and provide a comfortable, smooth, and luxurious writing experience! The ultimate gift for a stationery enthusiast!
