The chopsticks made by "Tetote" are 100% Japan made chopsticks. They are developed a solution for cultivating forests born from the forests of Fukui and for people and forests to coexist and prosper. First of all, it is a new standard that aims to replace 1% of the total production with pure domestic lacquered chopsticks with low environmental impact, and to become a part of a good circulation for the environment.

About 90% of Japanese chopsticks are made of bamboo and wood imported from overseas. In addition, there are many products that are imported as semi-finished products and only processed in Japan. There is a misunderstanding, but in other words, about 90% of the chopsticks are actually not purely made in Japan.

Whether it is disposable chopsticks or lacquered chopsticks, in order to be mass-produced and consumed in Japan, overseas forests are cut down, the scenery of the mountains is completely changed, and then transported to Japan by container ship while burning a large amount of oil.

The color blocking technique is inspired by the traditional Japanese Ichimatsu checker pattern used in many Japanese dishes and textiles. Made from Fukui cedar and food safe polyurethane, these colorful chopsticks are well designed and provide a lower impact on the environment.
