These pile socks have an outer layer of durable cotton with piled Merino wool lining. Piled wool is extremely warm and the outer cotton layer guarantees long wear. Thick and cozy, they are Hakne’s warmest socks.  But the are also designed not to be to tight on the toes or ankles so they welcome you to relax in them, even follow asleep in them without fear of your toes being pinched.

This particular hue is Malachite, which was chosen by Hakne as their 2026 seasonal color. Basing their seasonal colors on nature's own original beauty, this year Hakne decided on Malachite, a deep green stone with striking patterns that has been cherished as jewelry since ancient times.  We think it may also be the color of Chrysocolla, which is also found adjacent to malachite.  Another rabbit hole of information to jump down.  Regardless we want a pair.
