We love the vivid, painted prints on the MT washi tape of Japanese printmaker and artist, Makoto Matusbayashi . Cats, dogs, flowers, girls - all charming subjects by Matsubayashi san - we encourage you to gaze at them all.  Very hard to choose just one.

Makoto Matsubayashi was born in Kochi City, Japan. After studying printmaking at Sokei Academy of Fine Art & Design, began pursuing his art in Kochi in 1991. Won the grand prize for “The Choice” award in 1995. Her regularly has gallery shows around Japan and Taipei.  We feel lucky to have his small works of art via washi. and we have also had a 2026 version of Makoto Matsubayashi san's works in Hobinichi Techo Weeks.
