The green cowhide leather evokes the image of a quiet, deep forest, offering a deeply soothing color. The headband at the top and bottom of the spine is there for both reinforcement and decorative purposes. For Forest Green, this part comes in beige and white. The satin ribbon bookmarks come in light brown and light beige.

This book uses thin and light yet durable Tomoe River paper. It's characterized by its ability to hold ink well and provide a smooth writing experience. 

The cover has been constructed as a light hardcover book with some give to it so it still bends.
