This Weeks book features an illustration from the "Moominsummer Madness" on its cover. The scene depicts Emma the stage rat appearing before the Moomin family, Misabel, and Whomper as they gather around the dinner table. On the back cover, you will find Little My playfully sitting inside a sewing basket. The artwork is rendered with greige lines against a pale pink background. The cover has been constructed as a light hardcover book with some give to it so it still bends. Sophisticated but charming giving us the irresistable Moomin spirit.

This Japanese version is special because only the Japanese version has the extra Moomin customization/graphics on the pages inside your weeks - kawaii!!

For those of you who may not know, the Moomin series was created in 1945 by Tove Jansson—Finland’s beloved author, painter, and artist. Set in Moominvalley, the stories follow the gentle and curious Moomintroll; the dream-chasing and romantic Moominpappa; the warm-hearted and nurturing Moominmamma; the mischievous and strong-willed Little My; and the freedom-loving, solitary Snufkin—a cast of unique characters embarking on delightful adventures.

If you want to have some rabbit hole fun, check out a Moomin book, like Midsummer Madness or The Exploits Of Moominpappa.  Also you can watch some of the old Moomin cartons o Youtube at https://www.youtube.com/@moominofficial.
