Temple Blessings Napkin | Marigold | Yellow
These beautiful hand dyed linen napkins made with marigold petals are from Adiv, a Mumbai, India based all natural workshop committed to providing fair wages and using all natural ingredients before they go to waste to create beautiful functional fabrics.
Adiv has partnered with the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai, one of India's most revered and visited Hindu temples. Each month, millions of people bring beautiful flowers & fruits to the temple as offerings. Adiv repurposes the older flowers, fruits to use as materials for their all natural dyes. Hence the name of the napkins - from temple blessings!
This particular napkin is made from marigold petals that were once a temple offering. We think these looks stunning with many of our dishes and hope you might enjoy them too.
We were introduce to Adiv by Anju at Khazana in Mpls who is a lovely soul that curates beauty, talented makers and friends from all around India. If you visit Mpls you should make an appointment to see her.
